Helicopter flights can be organised throughout the day (minimum number of clients may apply).
SHORT FLIGHT OVER VICTORIA FALLS Flight Duration 12-15 Minutes One and a half orbits to the left and right over the Victoria Falls allowing passengers on both sides of the helicopter to view the Falls .Then fly towards Long Island to see if you can spot any Elephant and Hippo depending on the time of year. If time allows it you will then fly over the Mosi Oa Tunya Game Park on your way back to the helipad.
MEDIUM FLIGHT OVER VICTORIA FALLS Flight Duration 18-20 Minutes Starts with a low flight over the undulating landscape with its Baobab trees, Mopani trees and Acacia shrub, towards the Batoka Gorge. At rapid number 21 the pilot will gently lower you into the the belly of the Batoka Gorge with its 800ft towering shoulders of rock will fly you past rapids 22 – 23 – 24 – 25 and at rapid 26, the pilot will increase speed to lift you out of the gorge. You then head towards the Victoria Falls flying over several cultural villages below. You will now spend a few minutes flying over the Falls in the same fashion as the short flight i.e. Then it is time to head back to the helipad.
LONG FLIGHT OVER VICTORIA FALLS Flight Duration 25-30 Minutes This flight follows the same flight path at the Medium Flight but with the final leg of this spectacular flight being dedicated to game viewing – The pilot will fly you over Long Island, and the river on both sides of the Island looking for hippo, elephant and some of the large crocodiles that bask on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River then onto the Mosi Oa Tunya game park where there are several herds of giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest and from time to time elephant who visit the park. Then it is time to head back to the helipad.
