Livingstone Island is an experience not to be missed. Please note that this activity does NOT include transfers to and from the meeting point. Clients need to make their own way to the Livingstone Island launch site located at Dry Manzi. (Taxis can assist you with transfers.) From there you are speed boated out to Livingstone Island where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or high tea seated at the very top of Victoria Falls.
When the water levels are low enough it is possible to swim at the edge of the Falls in a natural rock pool known as the ‘Devil’s Armchair’ or ‘DEVIL’S POOL’. In higher waters, swimming takes place in the ‘Angel’s Pool’. Livingstone Island closes annually when water levels are too high.
Generally, the Devil’s Pool is accessible from late August to late December depending on rains.
