WALKING SAFARIS
Zambia is the home of the walking safari, and the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park offers some fantastic game viewing opportunities.
You can choose from a morning or afternoon departure. A short game drive into the park will gets you in the mood for your game walk. You will spend around three hours within the Park, searching for the many game species with a qualified guide. Elephant are frequent visitors here, and you may see rhino, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and much more.
Drinks and a snack are provided along the way. A minimum of two people is required to confirm a trip.
BIRDING SAFARIS
On birding tours in the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park and the surrounding areas, you may see some very special birds such as the mostly solitary Miombo Pied Barbet (Tricholaema frontata), the elusive African Finfoot (Podica senegalensis) and almost extinct the Taita Falcon (Falco fasciinucha). Both morning and afternoon walks will last a minimum of three hours and drinks and a snack are provided along the way. A minimum of 2 people is required to confirm a trip. GAME DRIVE
Sit back and relax in a Game drives vehicle, a fantastic opportunity to see the wildlife in this area.
This may be a better option for those families with young children as under 14 years are unable to take part in the walks. Your game drive will include a bush breakfast on morning drives and sundowners (beer, wine and soft drinks) on the afternoon game drive.
Game drives confirm for a minimum of four people only.
