Enjoyable stay. We are so glad we booked Fawlty Towers – the staff and facilities are just excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will certainly recommend your place to anyone going to Livingstone. Have completed a ‘review questionnaire’ for the booking organisation – all ‘5-Star’ ticks from us. Have a happy and Prosperous New Year.

Just a quick note to say thanks for an enjoyable stay at Fawlty Towers the other week. You have a great place and great staff. Thanks again and best regards. N & J
I just wanted to say how much David and I enjoyed staying at Fawlty Towers. The room was great, the staff wonderful, the pool lovely and the food yummy. Sorry I didn’t get to meet you but we heard all about you from almost everyone we met – including in Botswana. A real local legend! The whole of our hols were fab and we fell in love with Zambia. And we’d recommend Fawlty Towers to anyone.
Cheers Tess
Although it’s been a couple of weeks, I wanted to say thanks for the service. Fawlty Towers was great! I’m glad you talked my mom into the booze cruise as that evening may have been the best she had in Zambia. I will recommend Fawlty Towers to any of my friends visiting Livingstone. Best,M
We just want you to know that we now are back in Norway after completing 12 weeks of filming in Africa. Thank you ever so much for letting us stay at your nice backpacker lodge. It was more fun than any other place we visited! Lovely staff too I might mention… We are now in progress of editing the shows and I promise to send you some pictures as soon as we have them ready. Thank you ever so much for your help and hospitality. We will never forget you! Say hello to everyone who remember us. Thank you once again. We’ll keep in touch. From all the crew. Anne Beate
You can go weeks while travelling and not meet a single person worth ever seeing again, or even keeping in touch with. Then you arrive somewhere, and suddenly, you have met someone you know instantly will be a friend for a long time. You and the crew at Fawlty Towers, helped to make the last 2 weeks, the best of my trip! I love all you guys. Until we meet you again! Love, Sandy
Thanks for the stay at Fawlty Towers last week. it’s a great place and I had a good time. Cheers, Ross from Ireland
As a freelance photographer I wanted to gain experience in travel photography, particularly in the adventure travel sector, and was very excited about the opportunities offered in Livingstone and around the Victoria Falls. Staying at the Fawlty Towers provided a perfect base, and the staff were most helpful in organising photo shoots and activities for me, particularly at the Gorge Swing where I got some fantastic shots! The accommodation exceeded my expectations, and I was definitely well looked after. I was surprised to find that I could even have a massage and a manicure there – not something offered by most backpackers! As I was travelling with expensive equipment, I was grateful I could leave it in safe hands if necessary, when I didn’t want to take it all with me. The only downside was that I didn’t have long enough to spend in Livingstone, but that gives me a reason to go back. I would definitely stay in Fawlty Towers again. Many thanks to all the staff, particularly to Becx and Richard for the great opportunity! Tanja Nikola”
Hello Richard and Happy New Year! Just a quick thank you for your hospitality during our two-day stay at Fawlty Towers, good parties, nice pool and interesting company. G
After travelling in Africa for almost 5 five years visiting many a wonderful places, seeing loads of really cool things I ended up in Livingstone at Fawlty Towers planning on spending a day or two before heading of around Zambia up to Malawi. After seven weeks I was still at Fawlty Towers never a bored moment either relaxing by the stunning pool or enjoying a couple of drinks with new found friends in a truly funky African bar ……….probably the best place in Africa. Fawlty Towers is an oasis. We adored coming ‘home’ hot and weary from an exhausting day of activities, to be met by a welcoming face in reception and a big, comfy sofa. Relaxation was helped along by a dip in the beautiful pool, surrounded by lush gardens, and a cold beer (or three) at the local institution – Hippo’s! FT also made a good base from which to explore Livingstone, Victoria Falls and the surrounding region, as all activities and trips can be organised and tailor made from one spot. There are always lots of like-minded people travelling through town, and a lot of them will pass through Fawlty Towers, so it’s also a great place to swap stories and travel tips.
