Local Environmental and Community Support
At Fawlty Towers, we’re more than just an accommodation facility near the Victoria Falls—we’re deeply committed to our community and its environment.
Beyond offering a comfortable stay, we engage in various community projects that contribute to the well-being of Livingstone and its natural surroundings.
Supporting Our Wildlife and Community
Currently, we are focused on addressing the challenges posed by the ongoing drought in Zambia, which has severely impacted natural grazing in the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park.
This park, right on the edge of our town, is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impala, warthog, crocodiles, hippo, an array of birds and, of course, the endangered White Rhino.
The drought has increased the risk to these animals, leading us to partner with Friends of the Park to implement a critical feed drop program.
The project involves delivering essential feed daily to support these animals through the drought. This effort not only helps preserve our local wildlife but also reduces human-wildlife conflicts by preventing animals from seeking food in nearby gardens planted by local communities.
If you would also like to help, you can support this vital initiative by contributing to our donation box, located at the reception of Fawlty Towers.
If you are interested in exploring other ways to assist or would like more information, please reach out to us at manager@adventure-africa.com, and we will connect you with Alli Shenton from Friends of the Park.
